About Chestnut

Chestnut is a gorgeous long-haired Chihuahua with a rich chocolate-brown coat, warm tan markings on his forehead, ears, and muzzle, and a bright white chest patch. His fluffy coat and slightly folded ears give him an irresistibly teddy-bear look. Chestnut has a balanced personality — he's playful and spirited when engaged, but also knows how to settle down for a cozy cuddle. He's loyal, attentive, and forms strong, lasting bonds with his people. At our home-based training facility, Chestnut has been started on crate training and pee-pad training. He knows 'sit' and 'come,' and his long, silky coat has been brushed daily so he's fully comfortable with grooming. He's been socialized with children, adults, and other small dogs, making him a well-rounded, adaptable companion ready for his forever home.
